The Perry Foundation is dedicated to empowering individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities by building confidence, independence, and life skills through structured, inclusive, and engaging programs.

Founded by Charles Perry, the organization is grounded in over two decades of professional experience serving individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in group homes, day programs, and as an AFL provider. Throughout his career, Charles has focused on understanding each individual’s personal goals and incorporating those goals into their daily lives—ensuring services are person-centered, respectful, and empowering.

Inspired by this work, The Perry Foundation was created as an innovative community resource designed to encourage gross motor development, communication skills, and personal growth. Through intentional programming, the Foundation provides safe, supportive spaces where individuals can explore their talents, remain physically active, and strengthen independence.

The Perry Foundation incorporates sports-based activities, performance opportunities, and structured engagement to promote confidence, routine, and social connection. Our programs are designed to enhance physical wellness while fostering self-expression, purpose, and a sense of belonging.

At its core, The Perry Foundation is committed to creating opportunities that allow individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities to thrive, contribute, and be recognized for their abilities.
